Check-out: K-1 1 book at a time 2-3 2 books at a time 4-5 3 books at a time Books are due every two weeks but may be renewed if students need them longer. Overdue notices will be sent every other week. No fines are charged for late books. After a student’s book is two weeks overdue they will not be allowed to check out anymore until it is returned. If books are damaged or lost students are responsible for paying for them. Price is on the overdue notice or students may ask me and I will write it down for them.
Students visit the library weekly with their class for story and check-out. For your child’s library day check with their teacher. Children may also come to the library individually or in small groups from 7:20 each morning until 2:15 each afternoon to check out books, take Accelerated Reader tests, research a topic, or read a book. Accelerated Reader tests may be taken from 7:20- 2:10 each day.
