The purpose of homework is to let students practice what they have learned at school.  Therefore, they should be able to do them with little or no help.  Homework is given dailyPlease be sure to ask your child to check his/ her agenda and homework folder.  Please note that students may have different versions of homework based on their needs and abilities.   If your child is struggling with homework, please let me know.  Thank you.

My goal is to prepare my students for middle school.  Therefore, students should develop or maintain a habit of daily self-sustained reading (at least 30 minutes a day).  For students who are struggling in math, it is critical that they spend 5-10 mins practicing math facts (multiplication table) daily.  Most 5th grade math concepts rely heavily on multiplication facts and skills.  It is imperative that students master those facts.  If you need flashcards, please let me know.  Thank you for your support.
