My family (husband, Chris; daughter, Grace; and son, John)

A little about me...

I have been teaching for 15 years.  I've also been married for 15 years to my husband Chris and we have 2 children, Grace (11 years old) and John (9 years old).
We have several pets including our 2 adopted kittens, Cali and Sammi, 2 half-dollar sized turtles (Yurtle and Myrtle) and several fish!  We said goodbye to our precious dog Kensey (16 years old) earlier this year and are in the process of deciding on a new puppy...
I am the only person in my family born in Florida.  My parents' families are from Colorado and I grew up in Florida.  I graduated from high school in Athens, Georgia.  I was raised a Florida Gator and became a Georgia Bulldawg.  Yes, it's possible!
In my free time, I love to travel, spend time with friends, play the piano, and watch my kids play sports.

Other interesting tidbits...

I wish I had... a love for getting up early.  I would rather stay up late than to get up early!

I have too many...books?  shoes?  Can you really have too many of either of those?

I never have enough...post it notes!  Even my students come to learn to love "sticky notes!"

I'm glad I have...another wonderful group of students to teach this year and the wonderful opportunity to work with and help teachers each day.  I am very blessed!
