A Bunch of Bakers
After reading the story, Hedgehog Bakes A Cake, we decided to bake some cakes together. We quickly realized that baking a cake requires alot of skills. We used reading strategies to read the recipe. We used math skills to measure and divide up the cakes into equal parts. We also used our science skills to understand how solids and liquids can mix together and create new things. By the time we were finished we ALSO learned some important social skills like sharing, teaching others and using kind words. Finally, we ate our cake after it cooled. Yum! Yum!
