Homework
When you are bored with nothing to do... Draw! Paint! Build something with trash or found objects!
Mrs. Ross's Advice on becoming an artist:
Did you know that drawing when ever you have extra time can make you a better artist? Practice makes perfect and we each have a different kind of perfect that makes our art unique from others art!
If you make a mistake, make it a happy mistake! Forget about what you were drawing before and quit putting yourself down! Mistakes happen to even the best artists! So.....use your imagination to take that mistake and draw it to look like something else and act like you meant to do that the whole time!
Try tracing random objects on a piece of paper and then make them into a drawing! Large buttons are always fun to transform into pigs for instance!

- Draw your greatest fear.
- When do you get angry and why? Draw a picture of yourself with an angry expression.
- Draw things that float.
- Draw things with wheels.
- Draw things that roll.
- Draw things that close.
- Draw things that come from eggs.
- Be an ant- describe and draw what you would see.
- If you had a candy bar named after you,what would it look like and what would it be called?
- If I had been a pilgrim, I would have looked like this.
- If you were a flower, what kind would you be? Draw a picture of youself as this flower.
- Express in a drawing your happiest moment in the past year.
- Express in a drawing something you are good at.

- Draw a picture of something you'd like to become better at.
- Using any type of line or shape, create a picture with only the 3 primary colors.
- Draw your favorite cartoon characters.
- Draw yourself or a family member as a super hero.

19. A new musical group has asked you to design a CD cover for them that illustrates their music. Be sure that your design is original and does not use any other group's images!
20. Draw a picture of your dream house. You are rich, so include anything you want in this house.
